Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE / AXA/IOΣ - ΗΛΙ / ΑΠΟΛ/ΛΟΔΩ Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, cornucopiae between two grain ears; on amphora, K (?); in exergue, ME; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 426e. Nicely toned. Light pitting and with a scrape on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
